What is Yodica?
Is a nutritional formulation that contains iodine. It helps the proper functioning of iodine-collecting organs such as the thyroid, prostate, breast, pancreas, ovaries, and the immune and nervous systems.
Is Yodica medicine?
Yodica is not a medicine; Yodica is the combination of potassium iodide and molecular iodine. However, although it is a natural compound, some people can be intolerant, or its excess can generate side effects, so its first-time consumption must be monitored. Contact us!
What side effects can it cause?
The recommended dose of Yodica does not generate any side effects to the general population. However, its excess or sensitivity can cause stomach irritation, rash, and even hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. It has been described that 1% of the world's population may be intolerant of iodine. For this reason, the intake of Yodica should be consulted with our research team.
How is Yodica prepared?
Yodica is available in an oral solution to be administered in drops. A glass dropper with 70 ml allows a supply between 3 to 8 months, depending on the recommended dose.
What presentations do you have?
Yodica comes in two presentations, one for human use and one for veterinary use.
What can it be used for?
molecular iodine is recommended to attenuate symptoms of benign pathologies such as prostatic hyperplasia, breast fibrosis, polycystic ovaries, premenstrual syndrome, metabolic syndrome, or as an adjuvant in conventional chemotherapy treatments for various types of cancer.
What effects does Yodica have?
Molecular iodine that contains Yodica is an excellent antioxidant that allows to reduce oxidative stress throughout the body by attenuating inflammation processes (benign pathologies) or secondary effects to chemotherapy treatment. Yodica consumption in small and continuous doses does not generate any side or adverse effects. It is not antagonism with practically any medication, but it is necessary to consult us before ingesting Yodica for the first time.
Why is Yodica different from iodized salt?
Iodized salt contains enough amounts of sodium iodide to allow the thyroid gland to develop correctly, however, some commercial salt has not included the iodide supplement. Yodica offers you in addition to the appropriate iodide supplement, the necessary amount of molecular iodine that allows the proper functioning of other organs such as the mammary glands, prostate, pancreas, and digestive, reproductive and nervous systems.
Can I get a sufficient amount of iodine with a multivitamin?
The combination of Yodica is different from other iodine supplements, including multivitamins. Yodica contains potassium iodide and molecular iodine. Most multivitamin formulations contain only iodide. Molecular iodine can only be ingested naturally from the consumption of fresh seaweed, and in the pharmaceutical industry, there are no supplements that contain it.
Who can take Yodica?
Middle and older adults who need to increase their iodine consumption.
People with benign pathologies such as prostatic hyperplasia, breast fibrosis, polycystic ovaries, premenstrual syndrome, metabolic syndrome, etc.
People who will receive chemotherapy as a treatment for malignant pathologies (breast cancer, prostate cancer, etc.)

In addition, it is important NOT to consume it if you:
-
You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
-
Have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to iodine.
-
You have a history of thyroid disease.
Can it be used as a preventive or only as a supplement in pathologies?
Yodica is usefull in both situations. A low dose can be administered as preventive or maintenance, and a moderated dose is recommended as an adjuvant in preestablished benign pathologies or cancer.
The appropriate dose for each case should be consulted with our research group.
How often should it be taken?
Yodica is taken once a day, in drops diluted in liquid (milk, water, juice, etc.) at room temperature after eating any food, like breakfast, lunch or dinner.
